Accepted File Formats
We accept artwork in the following formats: PDF, PSD, AI, PNG, EPS, CDR, TIFF, and JPEG. For optimal print quality, please ensure all files are submitted at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
To avoid issues during production, we recommend including a 2-inch bleed on all sides of your artwork. This ensures no important content is cut off during trimming or finishing.
Print-Ready Files & Proof Approval
Upon receipt, all artwork will be reviewed and converted into a print-ready format. Please note:

Pantone colours are not supported. All files are converted to CMYK, which may result in slight colour variations.

If your artwork is ready, we will send it to print after a resolution check for any defects, if none found, we will send to print immediately to avoid any delays and send you a proof for your idea of the layout.

A digital proof will be provided for your review. It is your responsibility to check all elements, including colours, layout, and spelling.

Written approval via email is required before printing commences. We cannot proceed without your confirmation.

Any approvals received after 1:00 PM or the current cut-off time) will be processed on the following working day. Delays in approval will affect turnaround time.
Colour variations of 10–15% are considered acceptable due to screen calibration and printer configuration differences.
Product Quality & Finishing Standards
Birmingham Banners utilises large-format digital printing, intended for visibility from distances of two metres or more. These products are not designed to achieve the ultra-fine detail of photographic prints.
Size Accuracy: While every effort is made to produce to exact specifications, a minor size variation of up to 3–4 cm may occur.
Banner Construction:

Banners under 10 feet in height are typically printed as a single piece.

For banners exceeding 10 feet, seamless joints may be applied. These will be professionally aligned with your design and securely bonded.

Hemming charges apply for banners under 60 square feet.
Delivery & Packaging Information
Orders are dispatched within 5–6 working days of artwork approval, not payment date. Please allow sufficient time before your event or campaign.
Packaging & Folding:

Products exceeding 110 cm x 110 cm will be folded for shipping, which may cause visible creases or slight discolouration. These are not considered faults.

For rolled delivery (to prevent folding), please select the “Rolled on Tube” option at checkout. This may incur an additional charge and extend delivery time by 1 working day.

Express Services & Urgent Orders
We offer expedited production and delivery options including same-day, 24-hour, 48-hour, and 72-hour services. Availability and cost depend on the product and design complexity.

Orders placed with express service must be confirmed and approved before 1:00 PM.

Failure to finalise the order by the cutoff will result in a 50% express surcharge to guarantee next-day delivery or same-day collection.
Returns & Refund Policy
Customer satisfaction is important to us. However, due to the custom nature of our products, returns are accepted under the following conditions only:

A request must be made within 24 hours of delivery.

Evidence must be provided, including photographs taken from at least 2 metres away.

Returns are accepted for:

Print quality issues (excluding minor colour variation)

Incorrect sizes that deviate from the approved specifications

Packaging concerns:
If the package appears damaged upon delivery, do not accept the parcel. Acceptance confirms you received the goods in suitable condition.
Late deliveries:
If a dispatch delay on our part results in a missed deadline and the item is no longer needed, do not accept delivery and contact us immediately for assistance.
Courier delays are not eligible for refunds, but we will provide proof of dispatch.
Return costs:
If approved, returns must be shipped back at the customer’s expense. We only cover outbound shipping charges.
Fraud Prevention & Order Validation
All banners are photographed and weighed before dispatch to prevent fraudulent claims.
Any attempt to submit a false refund or dispute may result in legal proceedings, and Birmingham Banners reserves the right to recover all associated costs.
Intellectual Property & Design Rights
All custom designs, artwork layouts, and marketing visuals created by Birmingham Banners remain our intellectual property.
We reserve the right to use any product images or designs (created or approved by the customer) for marketing or promotional purposes on our website and related platforms.
If a refund is issued after the design has been approved, a 50% design fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Liability & Dispute Resolution
Our total liability is limited to the value of the order.
Any disputes raised via PayPal, credit card providers, or other payment processors will be subject to their independent decision, which will be considered final. We will supply all relevant documentation in the event of such a dispute.
